One final Shelterbelt update. From this point on, 'Sheterbelt' will refer to Pete and David's work from 2001 - 2005.
All the new work with Rik and Gavin falls under the new band name: 'Last Noble Truth'. We're still seeking a vocalist.

Updates?! From Shelterbelt?! BADASS! Just so you're all informed, Pete and I went and saw Gavin rock his drumset last
night and it rocked our socks, so we'll be practicing with him and his friend Rik (bass) next week. We've got new songs,
new people, and a lot of enthusiasm, so you can look forward to seeing a Shelterbelt show in the not-so-distant future. Woo!

New Update!- New Song (Just Guitars) To Download
Good day to you all, Pete here. Glad to see some people are still visiting the Shelterbelt Universe. Got a
new song for you, and as you probably have guessed, it is nameless. Tends to happen. But it has a temporary
name. Enjoy.
Lately, there has been a lot of working, and sadly, it has not been on our music, but that is to say just
for the time being. Once we start having a little more free time, the writing process will unravel itself as it should.
I, for one, am still writing and playing every single day, and I'm guessing David is as well (don't really know
anymore). We intend on sending this and other songs to our hopeful "new drummer" Gavin, down at SIUC,
so that he can write his own drum parts to them and let us hear his writing style when we get back to school, but
to do that I need an email address, and as of now, I am without one...so, yeah. It's slowly being taken care of. Stay tuned
for further updates (however slowly they get here). Next year will no doubtidly be filled with more updates than we can chew
on. Stick around. Later all.

Hey everyone, thought you deserved an update. We've gotten a bunch of calls and we're in the process of chosing our bassist
and drummer. We've met some interesting characters, haha. We'll tell you more as we know it.

Hey guys. We've been writing a bit lately. New things to come. Just trying to get some more material down on paper and
then we plan on recording as much as we can, using some tips we've gotten from the guys in VENT (ex. Chris Volz of FLAW).

Hey everyone, David here. As you may have heard by now, we've decided that Pete is going to play guitar full time and
do back up vocals, but we're lookin' for a new vocalist. This is primarily for comfort, and we're all being supportive of
Pete in his decision.
So, what have we done in the meantime? We've been working with a vocalist Pete met on the Vent boards. His name's Adam
and we've been throwing music back and forth, and it's been pretty fun.
So now you should go to the 'multimedia' page and check out the vocals he put to our new song 'Mine'. Send us your feedback;

Hey guys, just clearing some things up. No, all our songs are not that long. Yes, heavier stuff is being recorded, so
don't think we play acoustic only.
Other than that, thanks for the tips/concerns/praise/general feedback we've been getting. We appreciate all of it.

What's new? Hmmm...THIS SITE!!! Welcome one and all. By taking the time to go over this site, you've earned our many
many thanks and appreciation. Every bit of support we get for our music means so much more to us than any of you could know.

In any case, KT and Another Day are making their debut releases, so give them a listen and send us some feedback, okay?
We're working on the heavy songs at the moment, and when they're complete, we'll start distributing CDs. Woo Hoo!!!
